Big Data & Analytics Center of Excellence, data consulting and data engineering branch of SoftServe. Starting as a group of 3 enthusiasts back in 2013, almost 200 Data Engineers and Architects nowadays build Data & Analytics end-to-end solutions from strategy through technical design and PoC to full-scale implementation. We have customers in the Healthcare, Finance, Manufacturing, Retail, and Energy domains.
We hold top-level partnership statuses with all the major cloud providers and collaborate with many technology partners like Snowflake, Confluent, Cloudera, Starburst, Collibra, Tableau, and others.
Together with the SEI and Carnegie Mellon University, we adapted ADD and ATAM architecture design methodologies to Big Data needs and invented the Smart Decisions game to promote architecture design best practices in AI and Big Data.
IF YOU ARE
- Experienced in MS SQL Server, Oracle DB, MySQL, or PostgreSQL (or Google AlloyDB) administration and RDBMS migrations using these technologies
- Adept at cloud database patterns, with hands-on experience
- Skilled in working with managed cloud offerings for MS SQL Server, Oracle DB, MySQL, or PostgreSQL in cloud environments like GCP, Azure, AWS, or OCI, including tuning and performance optimization
- A big data engineer focused on creating data pipelines, with a solid database administration background
- Well-versed in batch or streaming data processing
- Strong in SQL and Python code development
- Experienced in developing data solutions within GCP
- Familiar with Apache Spark or Apache Beam (Google Cloud Dataflow)
- Knowledgeable in big data solutions in the cloud, including Google BigQuery, Airflow (Google Cloud Composer), and Google Cloud Storage
- Comfortable using Terraform or Python SDKs for cloud providers
- Knowledgeable in DWH-related concepts and implementations (Teradata, Snowflake)
- Skilled in cloud cost optimization related to databases (nice to have)
