We are looking for a motivated and talented Infrastructure Solutions Architect to join our Group Digital Infrastructure and Services team. In this role, you will work closely with experienced and talented architects, engineers, product managers and stakeholders to design and develop high-quality hybrid and cloud native infrastructure solutions.
What you'll be doing
Key tasks and responsibilities:
- Translation of business requirements in a solid infrastructure solution based on three fundamental pillars: respect of business requirements, coherence with group strategic view and costs optimization. Propose solutions ensuring to always apply best practices patterns such as resiliency, scalability, availability, and reusability.
- Architectural Governance and Solution design of complex IT Programs
- Relationship with all the CDIOs and PMs/Applications teams, customers, Demand management, Contract Management, Finance, ICT Capacity and Optimization, Group Technology Office
- Negotiation/cooperation with IT outsourcers in order to define and evaluate the best-in-class infrastructural solution
- Capability to interact autonomously within the Unicredit organization and toward Program stakeholders
- Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, providing clear explanations of architectural decisions and design choices
What you'll need to succeed
Requirements:
- 5+ years on the infrastructure solutions Architect role or similar
- Ability to communicate technical and functional information to both technical and non-technical customers
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or computer science or similar ones
- Fluent in English is mandatory, Italian is a plus
Qualification and competencies
- Work experience as an Infrastructure Solutions Architect or similar role
- Knowledge of main cloud platforms and containerization technologies (Google Cloud is a plus)
- Knowledge of main Enterprise systems technologies, as example: VMWare, Windows and Linux systems, Authentication systems
- Knowledge of the main existing Database technologies relational and non-relational
- Knowledge of the main decoupling technologies (e.g., Api Gateway, Kafka, Service Bus, Queues)
- Strong acumen on Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity patterns
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively within a distributed multinational team and contribute to a positive work environment
- Strong organizational and leadership skills
- Programming skills (Java, Python) is a plus
