We are seeking a seasoned Senior MuleSoft API / Integration Engineer to join our dynamic team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, configuring, and supporting MuleSoft API and Integration applications, ensuring their quality and efficiency by implementing best practices and contributing innovative solutions. This position will work closely with client stakeholders to deliver exceptional service while collaborating in an Agile environment.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with client stakeholders, providing high-quality, professional service
- Support the delivery squad in scoping and estimation exercises
- Develop, configure, test, and support MuleSoft API & Integration applications
- Apply continuous improvement practices, implement reusable patterns, and drive innovation
- Follow and enforce coding standards, perform constructive code reviews
- Ensure delivery quality through comprehensive unit and integration testing, adopting test automation
- Work in an Agile environment, participate in Agile ceremonies, and adopt Agile methodologies
Requirements
- Work experience in integration technology
- Hands-on experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, including components like MuleSoft Runtime, API Manager, Runtime Manager, Exchange, Design Center
- MuleSoft Developer Certification (Mule 4) Levels 1 & 2
- Knowledge of RESTful APIs, microservice architectures, and Integration best practices
- Proficiency in DataWeave 2.0 design and troubleshooting
- Familiarity with various connectors including database, file, web service, object store, and messaging platforms like JMS, Kafka, AMQP, SNS/SQS
- Experience with Salesforce, SAP, Workday integrations, strong SaaS Mulesoft integration patterns, working with SQL and NoSQL databases
- Understanding of both synchronous and asynchronous services
- Open-minded approach to emerging dynamic requirements, with capability to contribute to continuous improvement
- Strong verbal communication skills for participating in technical workshops
- Proactive identification of project risks with ability to provide mitigation options
Nice to have
- Experience with Cloud services (AWS, GCP, Azure) and Kubernetes/Runtime Fabric (RTF)
- Hands-on experience in API specification design using RAML or OAS
- Experience with test automation frameworks
- Implementation experience of CI/CD concepts and DevOps tool automation (e.g., Git, Maven, Jenkins, Nexus)
- Understanding of Web Services (SOAP), XML, and XSLT transformations
