Senior Software Architect

We seek a highly skilled Software Architect to lead our development team in creating software solutions that meet our clients' needs.

You will be responsible for communicating with clients to determine their requirements, creating comprehensive solution plans, and leading a team of software engineers as they develop polished final products.

To be successful as a technical architect, you should be an expert problem solver with a strong understanding of the broad range of software technologies and platforms available.

Responsibilities:
    Collaborating with various stakeholders to determine software requirements;
    Creating high-level product specifications & design documents;
    Own & maintain the architecture document;
    Providing the development team with architectural blueprints to follow;
    Guiding & assisting the development team throughout the process;
    Troubleshooting & resolving issues with coding or design;
    Presenting regular progress reports & setting goals;
    Testing the final product to ensure it is completely functional & meets requirements;
    Updating software solutions as required;
    Keep an eye out for technology trends, and open-source projects that can be used.

Qualifications & skills:
    Broad & extensive knowledge of the software development process and its technologies;
    Knowledge of architectural styles & design patterns;
    Solid understanding of various coding methods and computer languages;
    Data modeling & database design experience;
    Experience with software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes;
    Experience with service-oriented architecture (SOA);
    Ability to prioritize and handle work to critical project timelines in a dynamic environment & develop new approaches to complex design problems;
    Highly analytical mindset, with an ability to see both the big picture & the details;
    Strong communication and presentation skills;

Education & experience:
    A bachelor’s degree in software engineering, computer science, or a related major is required;
    A master’s degree or Ph.D. in software engineering, computer science, or a related major is a plus;
    Relevant leadership experience is required.
