Role Description:
We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer with solid experience in TypeScript/JavaScript, React.js and Node.js to join our team. The successful candidate will have a track record of successfully leading small teams of skilled software engineers and be comfortable guiding and motivating team members to achieve common goals.

Key Responsibilities:
- co-ordinates work of other team members, promoting an inclusive and open culture.
- Establish software development excellence, coding quality standards and tooling.
- Supports and unblock the creation of solutions and implementations.
- Mentoring team members. Develops knowledge and expertise in software development and other domains to understand linkages and dependencies.
- Building positive relationships with internal and external partners, growing own network and collaborating with other teams
Candidate Profile / Key Skills:
- 3 years+ experience as a Software Developer or equivalent role.
- Diploma / Degree in Computer Science / Software Engineering or relevance.
- Communicates complex technical information clearly and concisely in an audience appropriate format.
- Experienced in developing applications in one of TypeScript/JavaScript/React.js/Node.js or other relevant languages.
- Proven skills with relational / NoSQL databases, caching, searching and cloud Platform-as-a-service such as AWS or Azure
- Experience designing and deploying containerized services e.g. Docker, Kubernetes.
- Critical thinking, value judgment and common sense over process.
- Positive demeanor to learning new skills and technologies.
