IF YOU ARE
- Proficient in troubleshooting in Unix/Linux environments
- Experienced in Scripting in Python/Java
- Versatile in TCP/IP networking, networking architectures, and troubleshooting skills, including IPv4/6
- Skilled in analysis and network protocol dissection, using tools such as Wireshark
- Knowledgeable of network security device design, network device performance testing, and scalability testing
- Hands-on with configuring server hardware and deployment of Linux operating system
- Proactive in software testing and quality assurance
- Aware of SDLC and quality assurance and how these relate to product testing
- Adept at security software testing
- Competent with network and security performance testing equipment, both hardware and software (e.g., BreakingPoint)
- Strong in English verbal and written communication skills
- Flexible to work afternoons/evenings

- Conduct testing of firewall software to ensure reliability and performance
- Document all test cases, results, and observations
- Identify, log, and track bugs and defects
- Collaborate with engineers to troubleshoot and validate fixes
- Take full ownership of assigned tasks, ensuring quality assurance objectives are met
- Ensure compliance with network security standards and best practices
- Continuously improve test cases and contribute to process enhancements
