Role Description:

The purpose of the Service Configuration Management Relationship Lead role is to support the organisation’s Service Configuration Management (SCM) capability through the building and maintaining of relationships across Engineering. This is an exciting role supporting the SACM Manager to deliver the SCM strategy and goals by collaborating with key partners!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaboration: work closely with collaborators, ensuring they are aware of their responsibilities and how these link to accurate and trusted data in the CMDB.
  • Monitor process adherence: Ensure that the SCM process is adhered to within the LSEG.
  • Standardise engagement models:  Work with all the Engineering divisions to ensure a standard engagement model with the SACM team.
  • Data Certification: Lead the Data Certification process, ensuring Data Owners periodically attest to the accuracy of their data.
  • Documentation: Ensure team landing pages and knowledge articles are relevant and up-to-date.
  • Risk Management: Identify risks and opportunities related to the process design and operation.
  • Reporting: Monitor and administer management reports and critical metrics to support the organisation to lead with data.
  • Data quality improvements: Coordinate key data quality improvement activities including data completeness and staleness.
  • Training and Awareness: Coordinate and deliver SACM training, and process advice & mentorship to colleagues.
  • Continuous Improvement: Find opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of SCM.

Candidate Profile / Key Skills:

  • Able to build relationships and collaborate with a range of people and teams
  • Strong written communication, reporting and presentation skills
  • Experience of Service Configuration Management processes
  • ITIL 3 or 4 Foundation qualification
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in an IT related field
  • Experience with ITSM tools including ServiceNow
  • Experience in stakeholder management across varying levels of seniority
  • Self-motivated, detail oriented, creative and highly focused
  • A demonstrable understanding of IT Infrastructure and technology
