What do we do? 💻 

Writing code based on requirements of course J, but not only: 

1. Understand and, if needed, challenge the requirements from business  
2. Actively participate in code review, development shadowing, testing, development detail design and agile ceremonies 
3. Design and develop java-based apps that cover all the basic architectural principles stating from high-volume & low-latency systems to critical systems in a high-availability environments 
4. Contribute with the rest of the team to continuous improvements of the development process 
5. We are big fans of the quote “We build it, we run it!”. As you can imagine, that means we are Dev-Ops fans, and this can be translated in building and maintaining automated CI/CD pipelines 
6. L3 support for live applications 

Tools that we use: 

1. Java EE, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Hibernate, Apache Kafka 
2. Markup Languages: XML, JSON, XPath, XQuery 
3. Integration concepts (patterns, principles, technologies: Message Queues, Web services, SCA, Databases etc.) 
4. Release automation tools: Git, Gradle, Jenkins, Artifactory 
5. Testing and code analysis: JUnit, Mockito, SonarQube 
6. Issue tracking (Optional): Jira 
7. IDE: Eclipse, IntelliJ IDEA 
8. Operating systems: Windows, Linux 
9. Databases: Oracle DB, IBM DB2, NoSQL (Cassandra, MongoDB etc.) 
10. JavaScript Frameworks (Optional): Angular, Node.js, jQuery 

What are we looking for? 🔎 

1. 3 to 5 years of software development experience with 3+ years of extensive experience on Java platform 
2. Strong experience in programming languages and framework - Java, J2EE, Spring MVC Framework and Hibernate etc. 
3. Strong experience in RESTful web services, SQL, Oracle, JSON and OOPs using Java platform 
4. Responsible person for ensuring that Java best practices are adhered to 
5. Strong knowledge in Object Oriented concepts, particularly on class hierarchy, constructors etc. 
6. Responsible person for technical design documentation 
7. Quick learner and highly motivated to himself/herself abreast with latest technologies 
8. Good communication skills (Must)

Required skill set: 

1. Previous experience in back-end development using Java 
2. A good understanding of Java 8 concepts 
3. Experience in Web services producer and consumer development - SOAP and RESTful with Spring and web services security 
4. Experience with Java Design patterns (MVC, DAO, Singleton, Factory, Builder, etc.) 
5. In-depth understanding of Spring Framework and Spring Boot 
6. At least 2 years experience with Spring Cloud Netflix (Zuul, Eureka, Ribbon, Hystrix) 
7. At least 2 years experience with Spring Data JDBC or equivalent using Oracle, PostgresSQL or Apache Cassandra 
8. Experience in Unit and Integration testing with JUnit, Mockito 
9. Familiarity with enterprise integration patterns and Micro Service Architecture 
10. Experience in Agile environment 
11. Familiar with CI/CD tools: JUnit, Git, Jenkins, Confluence, Jira, Maven, Gradle, SonarQube, Artifactory 
12. Familiar with Linux environments 
13. Familiar with Docker/OpenShift environments 
14. Familiar with cloud solution as AWS is a plus 
15. Innovative in providing solutions, likes to take on challenges with calculated risk 
16. Strive to constantly improve the application development processes and tools
