What you will be doing in your new role
The core focus of this role includes process improvement and enhancement sustainability sourcing and reporting for operations in Romania. You will work cross-department with commercial local sourcing teams, local logistic execution and plant environmental engineers.
This will be done through the following activities:
- Verify ISCC statements received from third parties to ensure compliance and liaise accordingly for necessary corrections.
- Review, assess and consolidate the data and information provided by ISCC Suppliers (Farmers, Traders and Warehouses) with the support of the Field Traders.
- Communication with Suppliers in ISCC EU and ISCC PLUS issues and coordinate in solving the matters.
- Conducts Farmers’ sustainability risk assessment with the co-operation of field traders and participate in internal sustainability audits.
- Implementation of all legal and standard requirements for sustainable material trading, control, and update the internal sustainability execution procedures.
- Performing sustainability trainings for Bunge Romania teams.
- Supervising sustainability data compliance recording and maintenance of sustainable producer registers.
- Management control of the monthly and quarterly ISCC EU, ISCC PLUS and 2BSvs mass balances.
- Manages the greenhouse gas emissions calculations for the sustainability certification of Bunge Romania and supply timely data for Mass balance.
- Identify and implement technology to reduce manual work, automate processes and provide workflow transparency.
The position will be based in Bucharest and it will report to our Sustainability Execution Team Leader in Romania.
What do we expect from our future colleague:
- 1-3 years of experience; relevant field would be preferable;
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a connecting area of study would be a plus;
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point) – VBA is preferred;
- English language is required;
- Strong analytical and organizational skills;
- Ability to interact with multiple departments and flexibility to intercultural teams;
- Good prioritizing ability and used to operating difficult moments;
- Proactive and open-minded attitude towards new challenges with an agile approach;
- Willingness to travel across Romania (up to10% - during summer).
