We are looking for a team member to fill the role of System Administrator, who will support us with hardware and software maintenance, as well as with the maintenance, monitoring of the computer network or converged infrastructure, and associated equipment.
You will work closely with the support team in Romania, as well as with colleagues from the support team in Germany.
The ideal candidate is someone motivated to manage relationships effectively with colleagues from all departments and to identify the most suitable technical solutions based on each specific case, as follows:
- Install and configure software and hardware;
- Manage network servers and technology tools;
- Set up accounts and workstations;
- Monitor performance and maintain systems according to requirements;
- Troubleshoot issues and outages;
- Ensure security through access controls, backups and firewalls;
- Upgrade systems with new releases and models;
- Develop expertise to train staff on new technologies;
- Build an internal wiki with technical documentation, manuals and IT policies;
- The necesity to work from the office to the extent of 70% - 80%.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a System Administrator or as a Network Administrator or other similar role (minimum 3 years);
- Knowledge and experience in Microsoft Office 365 environment;
- Experience with networks (LAN, WAN) and patch management;
- Knowledge of system security (e.g. intrusion detection systems) and data backup/recovery;
- Familiarity with various operating systems and platforms;
- Resourcefulness and problem-solving attitude;
- Exceptional proficiency in English communication;
- Proactive approach, focused on solutions;
- BSc/Ba in Information Technology, Computer Science represents a plus (other disciplines are also accepted).

- Experience with databases;
- Professional certification - e.g. Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA).
