We are “GDELS Romania” - a Europe based business unit of General Dynamics Corporation, with products range from wheeled armored and tracked combat vehicles to amphibious bridges and ferry systems, with people all around the world relying on these systems and services – and we welcome you as Team Leader Vehicle Assembly Line, located in Bucharest!
To perform daily tasks, it is important that:
* you are able to identify specific problems and propose solutions
* you are able to follow the standards and regulations
* you take feedback into account and work with other people in order to get the results
* you own a medium level education or professional school in manufacturing vehicles/ machines/ automation
* you know English – an appropriate level of understanding
* you work with operating computer programs such as SAP (production modules), MS Office and any other software that is standard within the industry
* you have a driving license category B and preferable also C
There is a great advantage if:
* you have skills in reading drawings and technical instructions (understand how to implement)
* you have minimum 5+ years’ experience in leading a blue-collar team
* you have experience in working according to processes and implementing quality standards (ISO 9001 and AQAP)
Here are your most important tasks, among others:
1/ lead a team of 5-10 blue-collar workers in the vehicle assembly line and ensuring that the processes are followed: plan daily activities, give instructions to employees, control execution, insure that defined standards are achieved and required controls are performed, solve or escalate problems
2/ assure uninterrupted material supply to the assembly line, troubleshooting, continues improvements and on-time production
3/ act as primary point of contact for workers, logistics and head of production
4/ ensures that EHS regulations and PPE are implemented on site
