Client Description:
Adecco Permanent Placement is recruiting for one of its clients, a leading general contracting company with a wide geographical presence, providing sustainable design and build services, a Tehnical Office Engineer in Targu-Mures.
Responsibilities:
- Developing and maintaining the project schedule, including monitoring progress, conducting Critical Path Analysis, Earned Value Analysis, and mapping major milestones for all key activities.
- Regularly reviewing the contractor’s and subcontractors’ schedules against the master schedule, and providing comments for corrective and recovery actions to ensure contract compliance.
- Calculating project progress on a regular basis, both physically and financially.
- Tracking procurement and purchasing activities.
- Reviewing claims and variation orders as needed.
- Performing schedule forecasting and providing forensic delay analysis.
- Assisting with other tasks, such as procurement, evaluating subcontractors’ pre-qualifications, reviewing Method Statements, problem-solving, and more.
- Preparing and generating daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
- Presenting schedule updates to senior management and clients at the project level.
Candidate Profile:
- University degree (BS/MS) in Civil Engineering.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in international industrial/construction projects. Experience with hospital projects is an advantage.
- Excellent organizational and teamwork skills with proven success in contributing to a team-oriented environment.
- Self-motivated, disciplined, and well-organized.
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, Primavera P6, and MS Project software.
- Fluent in English (both written and spoken).
