Client Description:
Adecco Permanent Placement is recruiting for one of its clients, a leading general contracting company with a wide geographical presence, providing sustainable design and build services, a Tender Engineering in Bucharest.
Responsibilities:
- Review project requirements, technical specifications, and drawings, obtaining the necessary details.
- Examine construction plans and prepare quantity surveys or check quantity requirements.
- Prepare and analyze project costings for tenders, including materials, quantities, labor, and time.
- Identify suppliers and communicate in line with project requirements, obtaining offers and necessary information for tenders.
- Compare and analyze multiple offers from different suppliers, prepare comparison charts, keep a record, and archive documents.
- Price and forecast the cost of various components required for a project.
- Develop preliminary work schedules for tenders.
Candidate Profile:
- A graduate of Civil Engineering or Architecture departments from recognized universities.
- At least 2 years of experience in a Technical Office or Tender Department.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Eagerness to learn.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with suppliers.
- Good understanding of substructure and superstructure construction works.
- Ability to analyze project requirements, technical specifications, and drawings.
- Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
- Proficiency in using Excel, MS Project, and AutoCAD.
