Client Description:
Webuild is looking for a skilled Topography Responsible for our Sibiu – Pitesti Motorway project.
The Topography Responsible is in charge of managing and overseeing all topographic activities related to the highway construction project. This includes ensuring the accuracy of measurements, supervising the team of surveyors, and coordinating with other departments to provide the necessary data for successful project execution.
Responsibilities:
1. Coordination and Supervision:
• Lead and manage the topography team, including survey engineers and assistants.
• Assign tasks and monitor performance to ensure compliance with project specifications and timelines.
2. Surveying and Measurements:
• Oversee all topographic surveys and measurements on-site to ensure accuracy.
• Verify and validate topographic data and reports generated by the team.
3. Data Management:
• Ensure accurate documentation and archiving of topographic data and maps.
• Provide topographic support to other departments, including design and construction teams.
4. Compliance and Quality Assurance:
• Ensure all topographic activities comply with legal, safety, and quality standards.
• Review and approve topographic deliverables, such as as-built surveys and layout plans.
5. Technical Support:
• Act as the primary technical advisor for all topographic matters within the project.
• Resolve technical issues and provide guidance to the team as required.
6. Reporting:
• Prepare and present regular progress reports to the Tunnel Superintendent and other stakeholders.
• Communicate key findings, risks, and recommendations effectively.
Candidate Profile:
• Bachelor’s degree in Geodesy, Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in topographic surveying, preferably in large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Proven experience in managing and supervising teams.
• Proficiency in using surveying equipment (e.g., total stations, GPS systems, and laser scanners).
• Strong knowledge of CAD software and GIS tools.
• Familiarity with international standards for topographic and geodetic measurements.
• Strong organizational and leadership abilities.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Effective communication and reporting skills in English.
