Adecco Human Resources is recruiting a Workshop Manager (Construction) for its client, a leading construction company specializing in infrastructure projects.
Role Overview: We are looking for a skilled Workshop Manager to oversee the daily operations of a construction workshop. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership abilities, a solid technical background, and experience managing heavy construction equipment maintenance.

- Supervise daily operations, including equipment repair, maintenance, and scheduling.
- Implement efficient workflows to ensure timely servicing of machinery.
- Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations.
- Lead a team of mechanics and technicians, overseeing performance and task assignments.
- Provide training and development to enhance staff skills and ensure efficiency.
- Evaluate team performance and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Develop preventive maintenance programs for machinery and tools.
- Maintain detailed records of service history, repairs, and inventory.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure equipment is in optimal working condition.
- Coordinate with suppliers for timely procurement of parts and materials.
- Monitor and manage the workshop budget, minimizing costs while maintaining quality.
- Prepare cost estimates for repairs and equipment procurement.
- Track expenses and recommend cost-saving measures.
- Prepare detailed reports on equipment status, maintenance schedules, and cost analysis.
- Ensure proper documentation of all activities for audits and compliance.
- Communicate equipment availability and readiness to site managers and other stakeholders.
Candidate Profile:
Qualifications & Experience:
- Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related technical field.
- At least 5 years in workshop management or equipment maintenance within the construction sector.
- Strong understanding of construction machinery maintenance, diagnostic tools, and repair techniques. Proficiency in workshop management software.
- Proven ability to lead teams and manage workshop operations effectively.
- Good English proficiency.
