Firstly, please tell us about your experience, role in EPAM, and what guided you toward Delivery Management School.

My journey in the tech world spans over 20 years, starting with hardware-related positions and later transitioning into networking and security roles. Around 15 years ago, I made a pivotal shift towards software-oriented jobs, which allowed me further to develop my skills and expertise in this domain.

When I joined EPAM as a lead software engineer, my primary goal was to continue my personal and professional growth by learning and evolving in a collaborative and innovative environment. I recognized the potential for growth within EPAM and sought opportunities to expand my knowledge and skill set further. Given my multifaceted background in responsibilities ranging from solution architect and project management to relationship management, account management, developer and DevOps, I realized the importance of acquiring a comprehensive understanding of delivery management practices. This realization motivated me to participate in the Delivery Management (DM) School, aiming to enhance my skills and knowledge in the software industry related explicitly to delivery management.

Before undertaking the assessment, aligning my understanding of this role with the EPAM’s specific expectations was crucial.

These experiences were the driving force behind my decision to join the Delivery Management School. The DM School served as the ideal platform for me to refine my skills and gain a deeper understanding of the expectations and requirements of a delivery manager in the context of EPAM.
