Global Finance has named the 24th annual World’s Best Trade Finance Providers in 11 global categories, 8 regions, more than 100 countries, territories and districts and 8 US regions in an exclusive survey to be published in the February 2024 Trade Finance Special Issue and online at GFMag.com. The honorees were revealed at an awards luncheon today in Frankfurt at the BAFT Europe Bank to Bank Forum.
The editorial review board of Global Finance selected the best trade finance providers based on entries from banks and other providers, as well as input from industry analysts, corporate executives and technology experts. Criteria for choosing the winners included: transaction volume, scope of global coverage, customer service, competitive pricing and innovative technologies.
“A challenging economic and geo-political environment and shifting trade flows has led to a greater reliance on digitalization and emerging technologies as banks and their corporate clients seek surety in a time of transition,” said Joseph D. Giarraputo, founder and editorial director of Global Finance. “They are also finding new ways to tackle fragmented ecosystems and increased demand for Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) by helping create resiliency and provide greater transparency in supply chains.”
