Eugen Marin – Sr. Manager Telematics BU, HARMAN Connected Car, took the challenge to be part of the SpeaKINGS Corporate Cup and reached the FINAL stage!
The event is a public speaking competition between companies in Romania.
After long preparations, Eugen conquered his fears and transformed them into strengths.
E.M.: “It felt like running a marathon with the full package of emotions, starting with the scary parts where you think you cannot do it and ending with the great excitement of reaching the finish line. I learned how to combine creativity with spontaneity, to prepare a timed speech, keeping the audience engaged and doing some improvisation in the meantime.”
Eugen had a strong team of supporters from different departments alongside a full cinema hall that voted for him in each stage of the competition.

I remember thinking, during the event, how it feels to be there, on the stage, in front of all those people and in that moment, Eugen became our teacher. How you manage to identify yourself with each of the person there, how to defeat your emotions and send your message to reach so many different people.
